XL Moon Jar — Sea Caves Layered Green & Cream Textured Glazes with Platinum Lustre Rim

Inspired by the sea caves of the Zakynthos coastline — the shifting colours of the Ionian Sea, the mineral textures of cave rock worn smooth and rough by salt and tide. This XL hand-built moon jar in fine porcelain captures that same layered quality: deep greens and glacial creams pool and fracture across the surface, encrusted with textural glaze that echoes barnacled stone and sea foam.
A platinum lustre rim adds a quiet luminosity to the narrow opening — a glimpse of light where cave meets water.
Each piece is entirely one-of-a-kind, the result of multiple glaze firings and the unpredictable chemistry of the kiln. The heavily textured surface catches the light beautifully, revealing new depth from every angle.

How to style: This jar makes a quietly commanding centrepiece on a mantelpiece, side table, or console. Its earthy greens and creams sit beautifully in a living room, hallway, or bedroom — particularly alongside natural materials such as linen, stone, and wood. Pair with dried grasses or a single stem for a calm, considered interior. Can hold water inside for fresh flowers stems.
