Inspired by the sea caves of the Zakynthos coastline — the extraordinary turquoise of the Ionian Sea, the mineral-encrusted rock worn smooth by salt and tide, foam breaking against limestone at the cave entrance. This small hand-built moon jar in fine porcelain holds all of that in the palm of your hand.

Layers of ocean blue and glacial cream glaze pool and shift across the surface, rich and glassy at the crown, breaking into a heavily textured, sea-foam crust at the base — as though the tide itself shaped the clay. A platinum lustre rim catches the light like sunlight on still water.

One of a kind, the result of multiple glaze firings and the unpredictable magic of the kiln. No two are ever the same.

  • Material: Porcelain
  • Dimensions: 15 × 15 cm
  • Glaze: Layered ocean blue & cream textured glazes with platinum lustre rim
  • Inspired by: the sea caves of Zakynthos, Greece
  • One of a kind, signed original with makers mark underneath

Suitable as a sculptural vessel or statement object. water can be added for flower stems.

How to style: Its ocean palette suits a bathroom shelf, bedroom windowsill, or living room side table — beautiful alongside shells, driftwood, or pale linen. Small enough to sit in a group of vessels, striking enough to stand alone.
