This expressive original landscape painting of the rolling hills was painted after walking around Elterwater in the Lake District and being inspired by the colours and heritage of the landscape by observing the old slate quarry and beautifully historic Slater's Bridge.

About the Artist
Nicola Briggs is a Manchester-based artist and ceramicist with a BA(Hons) in Design: Ceramics Arts from Staffordshire University. She creates atmospheric landscape paintings and nature-inspired porcelain ceramics from her UK studio, capturing the quiet beauty of natural textures and light.

Lovely ring holder, very well made and looks just like the picture. I always have mine by the sink ready for when washing up so I know where I've put them. Packaged so lovely if giving it as a gift.
The bowl is beautiful - a one off piece. There was a complication with the original bowl breaking in the post. Nicola immediatley offered to make a replacement, delivered it to our house in Manchester and included a smaller bowl as a gesture of good will. Fantastic production values, service and generosity.
